I just got Live Free or Die Hard and im impressed with picture quality its really sharp and you can tell its in hd unlike my other blu rays. So are there any good blu ray movies that have a really good hd picture without looking like its an upconversion of a standard dvd.

I have a hd projection system onto a 124" wall mounted screen. The blue ray player being used is the ps3 console which projects regular wide screen movies over the whole screen. Why do the blu ray movies which are suppose to be the latest in technology just occupy a portion of the screen?

I have a DLP projector at home and was curious if the crispness of Blu-Ray or HD movies will show being played through it.

I know that most blu-ray players will upscale a standard definition dvd to fit and view well on a high definition TV but how is this done? I’ve viewed several standard definition dvd’s on my PS3 and while I know they’re not being displayed in true hd and just upscaled they still look very very good.

Now when you look in Best Buy magazines you only see advertisements for Blu Ray Disc players. Blu Ray is also HD and now everyone wants HD.

I have a tv with high definition capability, but I do not have the hd converter box. Also can a blu-ray dvd player play regular dvds not just blu-ray disks?
